Re: Unable to connect to BFV Servers.

Hey, @ADFSnake

I would start with:

  • Reseting your filters in-game to default
  • Reset your router if you still cannot access any MP games
  • Possible ISP problems? Are you on a proxy? VPN? (overkill but worth a look if the first two steps don't work)

If after the above actions, you are still having issues - I would check your game installation files and also your network setup in general (even though you may not have changed anything).

Let me know if you are still experiencing issues

Best of Luck!

Ok so I decided to uninstall BFV and then re-download/ Install it. Now I cannot even launch the game through Origin, I've no idea why. Origin says the game is 100% complete and up to date, yet the "Play" button is shadowed/ unavailable/ Un-pressable. Added a screenshot to show what I'm seeing.

Alright, so I tried both of your steps and also bought the game again through Origin. For the past month, I have been playing the game with Origin Access and I guess today it expired so I bought the game again through Origin, After clearing the cache and also re-installing Origin, but now I don't think Origin recognises that I have bought the game as I can't play it. I just get a notification that my Origin Access membership has expired and to either renew membership or buy the game.

I already just spent over $100 AU for the Deluxe edition of BFV, so I obviously do not want to buy it a second or third time.

EDIT: I have managed to get the game to launch (There was a separate BFV 'tile' in my Origin Library that I needed to use.) but I am still having the same original issue - Cannot connect to any Server in my region.

I can't see server's pings in the server browser which as I said in my original post, I believe is related to the issue of why I can't join any MP servers.

  • I don't suppose anyone has any more ideas? I miss playing.

Yes, I have tried everything he has suggested, Un-installing and then re-installing both BFV and Origin. Clearing out Origin's cache, Restarting my router + PC and I've bought the game instead of using the Origin access service.

I still can't see server Pings which is preventing me from joining any MP servers in my region. I'm out of ideas and I'd prefer to avoid calling EA from Australia as the phone bill will most likely hurt me a lot.

Disable the Windows firewall and your Anti-virus scanners real time protection > Test.

Make sure this port on your Router are open and router to your PC:

    Origin Ports:
    TCP: 80; 443; 9960-9969; 1024-1124; 3216; 18000; 18120; 18060; 27900; 28910; 29900
    UDP: 1024-1124; 18000; 29900

    BFV Ports:

    TCP  80, 443, 5222, 9988, 17502, 20000-20100, 22990, 42127
    UDP 3659, 14000-14016, 22990-23006, 25200-25300

You retested you in game settings as well?

I do not know what has happened or changed (aside from DICE releasing patches for the game) but today I am able to play BFV MP again. I have not changed anything other than what I have already tried. I was going to do the steps mentioned by @holger1405 but before I did i wanted to double-check that I am still having an issue. When i loaded up the server browser, I could see all Server Pings and so I decided to try to join a near-empty server as a test and I was able to connect and play around freely.

I would like to mark this issue as Resolved but I do not have a detailed resolution as to how it was fixed. The game seems to have, In my opinion, Fixed itself.

I would like to offer a big thank you to @holger1405 & @IICookieGII for helping me with advice.
