There are a few external reasons that cause a disconnect besides the user and EA side cause. It could also sometimes be a server fault or reset for reasons unknown that end the game abruptly. The trick is to find out what the actual problem is and fix it so we can continue what we want to do most. Today I've also experienced a few dropped connections prior to getting in a game server so it might be an acute problem. Lets hope all is fixed soon?
I hope it does get fixed soon as I've unable to enjoy the game at all as I'm roughly only connected to 1 server a day for one game and that's it before the error message starts appearing

Sounds frustrating what you're going through. Are you playing on a WiFi connection by any chance?
We have some basic steps for connection troubleshooting we always recommend taking a look at first before we going into anything more advanced. If those don't work out for you, would you mind private messaging me your UO Trace results so we can see how your connection reaches our servers?

I'm played on a wired connection not WiFi, cable is also relatively short
I have seen that once you get kicked for being idle too long you will have to restart the game to be able to play again. If that is your issue then the solution is to do just that. If you are experiencing other connection issues on a regular basis we should troubleshoot the connection itself.
