Happened once again on "[DICE] STRATEGIC CONQUEST - #61717" Pacific Storm 19:10 France/Paris timezone.
I could gather additional information/confirmation :
- i checked the behavior of spotting flares as someone else mentioned it and i had not checked it for myself (i rarely play recon). I can confirm that when the server-wide bug occurs, you cannot see your own flare spotting circle on the mini-map. Except for this UI bug, the rest seems to function as usual (ennemies are spotted by your flare, you gain points for spotting, you can see the spotting circle of teammates flare on the mini-map)
- I took the wheel of a Ka-Mi (spawning at G) and could more precisely note which sounds i could hear or not. Engine sound was NOT playing, but i could hear seemingly everything else : shock sounds (when hitting a rock), water sounds, main canon firing, teammate firing. I could also hear a Corsair flying over my head.
The server-wide bug disappeared when the next round started (the server did not close).
