I totally agree and I think it would be a really cool addition to the game. However, being shot in the head should in my opinion always result in immediate death, for realism 😉

@swespot But the head could mean you just got a graze. It could also mean you got shot in the face (e.g. the lower jaw), which wouldn't necessarily result in a death IRL.
@ivrognard It doesn't have to be as extreme as those other games. Maybe just a minor effect on the respective body parts and their functions.

@SterlingARCH3R to be honest the old Operation Flashpoint game was just amazing. The newer ArmA games did not manage to recapture the magic of it. While the ArmA series are quite good, they are not anywhere near as complex as the OpF was. Would be nice if bohemia could get Red Hammer from Codies and integrated in the ArmA: Cold War (which is basically OpF with the Resistance expansion, but missing the Red Hammer campaign, the expansion still being owned by Codies). OpF was a true simulation, but it was truly a hard game, so Bohemia decided to toned it down a bit in the newer ArmA series.
BFV could use this extreme simulation in the War Stories, while in MP would use a toned down model (unless they go with a Hardcore MP Mode and separate servers for that mode).
Looking forward to see how the game is in SP and MP. From those alpha videos, the gameplay seem to be a blast.
