Spotting

Question

I think its insane how long i stay spotted.When it lasts for more than a couple minutes and when it happens as soon as i spawn with zero flares or planes overhead and players near me i have to assume either the spotting stuff lasts to long,is bugged considering i spawn spotted at team spawn point(not flags),or people are using hacks to spot me through walls? idk but the spotting change needs to be removed entirely i know it was nerfed but it needs just straight removal just like the ttk.

@brooksoz There are situations in Breakthrough, where you are constantly spotted. That happens when the attacking team takes one of the sectors and is by design.
In generell there are just a lot of mechanics for you being spotted like being fully supressed, being hit by a recon (both apply for a specific combat role) and of course the plane spotting as @flyinghorse101 already stated.

@brooksoz Depending on the map, certain aircraft have spotting cameras which can light up an entire map and while it only last a few seconds, pilots can spam it each time they do a pass (I'm guilty of being my teams personal UAV all game) or they can have the spotting scope upgrade which is like what BF1 and game before it was like when you pinged people. You also have snipers that don't use flares but equip the spotting scope too, sometimes having the ability to scope which doesn't require ammo is the best option 🙂
