Stuck between rounds on black loading screen. Can’t even play 2 rounds in a row
Sooooooo, y’all fixed the issue where it was loading the previous map with the double spinner so kudos to that. But now, it just gives me a black screen that won’t let me do anything AND I STILL HAVE TO CLOSE THE GAME AND WAIT IN QUEUE WHILE MY FRIENDS GET TO ENJOY THE GAME. I really thought that y’all could fix this issue that’s been going on since the launch of the game. Come on Dice. Are you seriously telling me that Epic which is a studio MUCH smaller than y’all can actually fix problems in a timely manner in a FREE game but y’all can charge upwards of $60 for a broken game that you just keep breaking more with each update instead of fixing the problems you know about?
Alright y’all, I think I might’ve figured this out for PS4. I called EA technical support. They told me to restore my licenses (Settings-Account settings-restore licenses) and once you’ve done that, restart the PlayStation. This did not work. They also suggested deleting the game and reinstalling so I did that as well. Still had the problem except it wasn’t even giving me the loading icon at this point, just a black screen. So then I followed some Instructions from a much larger thread on this same topic for a “guaranteed way to fix the issue” (Settings-application saved data management-saved data in online storage-delete-bfv). I had previously tried this method as well to no avail, but for some reason, the combination of all those steps together seemed to have fixed the issue, at least for the time being. I just played 4 matches in a row without having to restart the game and let me be the first to tell you, it was freakin amazing. Now the problem may return tomorrow, but as for right this second, it is fixed
