Stuck in menu

Product: Battlefield V
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One

In which game menu were you when the bug occurred? I am in the menu where you see the message that you are disconnected from the ea servers

Summarize your bug I am stuck in the menu where you see the message that you have lost connection to the ea servers my and controls are not responding. The game is not loading and my xbox home button is working fine. I am stuck here and have to restart my console as I am unable to exit this menu. This bug occurs after the game freezes while playing a mp match and you are directed to this message. Be aware that I have been stuck many times in other menus in the game most particular in the server list.
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You find it after the game freezes and you are directed to the message that you are disconnected from ea servers. You are unable to exit that message. You also find it after you exit a match and open the server list. There you also become stuck.
What happens when the bug occurs? You are unable to navigate the menu even though the controllers is working fine as I am able to open the xbox home screen from the middle button.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to navigate the menu.

I have made a clip of this problem but I am also unable to post it here as the submit button becomes stuck also  This is my third attempt and without a clip is this does work.. I am trying to make the game better by posting all the problems I encounter as I like the BF games.

    Latest drivers - that's for sure. Now I repaired the game just in case, and now I'm getting this issue which I've been getting since the release of the game: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/BFV-Server-Disconnected-error-Battlefield-V-for-PC/td-p/7282265

    Before I received this connection error, I went to Advanced Search and noted my 73 ping to all server.

    But again, my bandwidth is not a problem - 60-70 ping as average to servers I'm trying to connect. But come on, sometimes it can get up to 200 ping and it can let me in!

    I'll let you know if I get the issue with being stuck in menu again.

  • @Balin225 Hi Bram, What if you select small as video option to upload? You can just click on reply here (not quick reply) and try it again?
    Original got stuck mostly indeed.

    I'm no expert on Xbox unfortunately.

    I had filmed in 4k. That is too big. I dont know how to make the video smaller but will film bugs in a smalller size next time alright? 

    I do have a screenshot here that I took from the clip. You can see the screen where I am stuck in. So in the video you see me pressing buttons to connect or exit and you see that the menu is not responding. You also see that I will open up the xbox home screen with the middle button to show DICE that it is not a controller disconnect problem but a real technical issue. So basically I am stuck in this screen and thats it. Today this happened to me 2 times.

    @EA_Atic this is a reoccurring issue, Do you have any idea's left as workaround?

    @bajituka, You have repaired the game through origin as well is it? and latest Videodrivers? Just to doublecheck.

  • While this is being resolved you should be able to avoid restarting your console by simply closing the application from the Xbix Home menu. That's what I've been doing when I've been trapped like this anyway.
