*Update*
The DICE team is still looking into this but I was able to find a thread where there were a few things that worked out for some Battlefield players. Here are some potential workaround solutions below:
- PS4: When you feel the loading hangs. Hit the PS button to go to the PS4 main menu and press it again to bring you back to Battlefield V to get passed the loading.
- Xbox/PlayStation Go to Storage and delete the saved data. I would recommend uploading your saved data before deleting it. After deleting your storage, try to start your game again and play a few online matches. You’ll probably lose your campaign progress, but your online progress should be fine. If anything is lost, your storage will be backed up already.
- PS4: "I fixed the infinite loading on the PS4 by moving the game from extended storage to system storage. Not sure if it's THE solution, but it worked for me."
- Xbox: If you get the "BLACK SCREEN" try hitting START > Dpad Down > Dpad Down > A button. Works like a charm most of the time.
