I personally thought the new Medic guns weren't all that great. Yes, they can rechamber relatively fast but their accuracy is poor when you compare it to other bolt actions and self loaders. In the end I'd classify them as skill cannons but semi autos not only have more adaptability, but they have a very low learning curve.
ZH-29 with a 3x scope, for example, absolutely obliterates anything at any range making it a much more effective tool (it's near game breaking with 0 bullet drop and a 2hk even at extreme ranges).
Tromboncino or the Carbine may be able to get a headshot kill, but regardless of scope, you are hindering the entirety of the Medic build by taking them out of close quarters

Was using the Tromboncino for a bit and was HOOKED. There are times you can really do some work when you're at medium to long range, but any time I tried rushing into a close quarters battle I lose to SMG's or other semi-auto rifles.
