i restarted the game with origin and then it worked so try that
Ive had Battlefront 2 trooper edition since I preordered it. Went to play it today with some friends that got the game free through Epic, and now i have this rubbish about restricted from online. Just to top it off the last 4 restarts have got to main screen with no mouse pointer bug aswell.
EA gets worse with every passing month it seems.
Same problems as everyone else here. Might be time to update your servers EA... Honestly not surprised by this though, EA has failed me time and time again with these sort of things. At least this time i didnt have to spend tons of money getting to this point. Sucks you have to use Origin to access there games, my NES will never fail me at least.
I've been having this issue for 6 YEARS. SINCE BATTLEFRONT 1 RELEASE. And I finally thought that now that I got the game on another platform besides XBOX, I would finally be able to enjoy battlefront 2. but my FULLY ADULT account is unable to access online. I'm fed up with EA, I've had this issue since I was an actual fxxking teenager. Thank god I got this game for free off Epic Games because if I had spent actual money on this game, there would be much bigger problems.
Well, restarting origin, this doesnt even work so its not a solution. How is this even an issue? if you look at this thread youll see this issue has been ongoing for years.
I want to play my Game! How can you let this happen EA? its disgraceful. You dont mind taking people's money, but countless times I've seen this pattern of you not offering real support to real problems. Which leads me to believe that you dont intend anyone to actually play your games online. Maybe EA doesn't have the talent required to ensure a stable online experience.
