The official support and development for Battlefield V has enden in july this year, so you can´t really expact anything to have changed over the last months. However, they did indeed change a couple things and are stilling working on the game. Just one or two weeks ago they added a lot more functions to the community games and there are a lot of players created servers running at the moment. If you want a different game experience you should try some of those out, they are quiet fun and refreshing. Furthermore, they have just added a new team balancing system on breakthrough servers to try and help with unbalanced teams.
Cheaters still cheating and just found out there are devices you can buy and use. Cronusmax, Strike pack fps, and the Zen which attaches to the controller itself or plug in line with the charging cable.
- Cheating will always be a problem in online games. I personally haven´t encountered to many of them in BFV. We can only hope for a better anticheat in the future.
Planes still over powered and still real no defense against them. Gunner positions on planes are totally useless. One side seem to have all the vehicles which the other side has nothing.
- Yes they are and the anti-air is really powerful as well. Sadly, most people don´t use the stationary aa guns or the aa rocket for the assault class. They can make a huge difference in the game. If you don´t like vehicles just look for a community game server without them and have fun.
Still matches go on with half of a team on one side and a full team on the other side.

Still being spawned in front enemies with my back toward them, resulting in a free kill for them.
- Don´t spawn on squadmates, if this happens to often. Use the static spawns and you should be fine most of the time.
Assignments with unachievable criteria's, naming "in one life or in a round". Assignments that have criteria's that are incorrectly stated.
- YES!! And this is such an easy fix. I have every assingment in the game done, besides the headshot in objective area once for the semi rifles. They are now achievable on the community game hardcore servers, but it is still hard. A third option (getting x amount of kills or headshots) should be added in again.
Players are still able to take a full magazine and still able to stab or bayonet you without dying. Players are still able to take full magazine and get down in prone position switch weapons and shoot you with one shot without dying. The person that shoots first dies first.
- That is not my experience with the game. If this really does happen to you, you should turn on the help indicators in the game, to show when you are experiencing packet loss or other connection issues. Furthermore, make sure to use the server browser to join games. The quick match option often puts you on servers , where you have a really bad ping yourself.
The environment is still out of whack or something when you look down the sights of the a weapon and have a clear line of sight but when you fire you the hit ground instead.
- This really is a problem in some situations, however as this is deeply integrated in the core functionality of the game, they can´t fix this. This will probably be a problem in the coming game again and is a problem in other games as well. So reporting this sadly won´t change anything.
Voice chat does not work during matches.
- It does work on my system. When you are playing with friends, just use some external programm.
Flares shouldn't spot anyone during the daylight.
- Battlefield is not a military simmulator. This game is supposed to be fun and the functionality of flares it to spot enemies.
Shouldn't be able to see through smoke.
- This has gotten a lot better over the last updates. The implimentation of smoke is quiet hard. Making it look good and not giving one player an advantage over the other is not easy to do. Just look at CS:GO. This game is in development for over 8 years now and still has problems with their implimentation of smoke granades.
Battlefield V has a lot of issues and the development is officialy over. Yet they are still working and testing on it, probably to improve the coming Battlefield 6. They are taking their time with the new one, to not make all these mistakes again and I can´t wait to play it. However, for now we can only play what we have. I really enjoy playing Battlefield V and when I don´t, I play something else. There are so many games to enjoy. Even the older Battlefield titles (BF1, BF4, BF3) have a lot of populated servers and they are great fun to get into again.
