Thanks for this @Pesuto well spoken! I'm really with you on this. The last paragraph is probably why I am so disappointed.
(I'll skip the earlier ones for now ;-) ) I loved BF3, BF4 was nice but interestingly I played that more although I had more (or better) memories of BF3. Those were a bit rocky at first but all in all fun to play with their ups and downs. BF1 then was a setting I liked but never really got into it as much as the others. Some bugs literally jumped me in the beta I attended. That usually isn't a real good sign. But then I had other beta (of even non-EA games) which were quite rocky too. - Yes, still beta, so "all good" for then.
So jumping to BFV now. I've had no luck attending the closed beta but the open beta I've played quite a lot. The step from beta to "release" felt not really good. Still many of the beta bugs "at large". That's why my friends started it called Betafield ... now think about it. I really wish for a game which is fun, sometimes even funny (dudes flying as high as houses after some tank shell helped him up ;-) ) and not frustrating (yes, sometimes that comes with it, too).
@EA/DICE/Helpdesk Good luck fixing and improving! (No sarcasm, pun or whatever intended! - Just had the hunch someone might take this wrong.)
