I'm one of the lucky players not having this issue. But this issue is indeed taking for months now.
Unfortunately the only feedback you can be given is to contact EA support. Be nice and start a chat with them. If they can't solve it try another agent. People have unlocked gear through EA support so that advice is still valid and working. This Forum can't unlock it for you and official advice is to contact EA support.

But please make sure you have contacted support in case of missing combat roles. This can be done by
https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/ and start a chat session with a support representative.
About missing weapons the earlier described workaround should still be valid.
- Play practice vs players
- Play non stop till weapon is ranked again
- Now it should be unlocked.
