If you bought the standard game already, the Store shouldn't let you buy the Full Deluxe Edition at all. Cause it should be in conflict with the already owned Game.
So you should be simply able to buy a Deluxe pack later on, once it's available. 🙂

I hope EA makes the upgrade available now. They're missing out during this prime hype time to make more money, because all of those gamers buying the standard issue can't even buy the Deluxe Edition at full price without a new Origin Account (let alone getting them to basically repay for the game).

This makes such little sense.
If they want the Deluxe things, why not just buy the Deluxe version?

Players who want all the extra content, will buy the Deluxe Edition right away.
Others who just wanna play, will buy standard.
And if they see later on....oh, that's some cool stuff what he has there. So they might would like to get Deluxe later then.
