Vaulting while sprinting doesn't work when object height is below the knees

Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Multiplayer

On which server did this happen?
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm)
Summarize your bug Whenever I try to spring and vault over objects that are below knee height, I jump instead. This happens often especially in the store windows of Rotterdam but also when trying to vault over Dirt Pile Fortifications.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Sprint towards a store window in the Rotterdam map and press jump to vault right before the window. Please note that if you walk up to the window and press jump right in front of the frame, the player will vault as intended. So important to do it while sprinting.
What happens when the bug occurs? The player jumps instead, often landing on the window frame. This is especially awkward when there is a window inside the frame because that window doesn't break and instead of an awesome flanking manoeuvre now both the enemy and you are wondering what you're doing.
What should be happening instead? Player should be vaulting instead of jumping

It seems that the objects are too low but are still vaultable, so they are in some sort of limbo between waist and knee cover with the attributes of both.

  • I actually noticed that too and you can actually just jump over them without vaulting
