Today I purchased the game and was very disappointed. There are no players in Europe at all. One full server for 64 players and one for 32. Does 100 people really play in Europe? Is there anywhere on...

That is an issue with the server browser, not the representation of an actual player count. While there is no official player count (actually, as far as official info goes, that never was a thing in any Battlefield released this decade), on occasions where server browser works it's clear that the sheer number of full EU Conquest servers is somewhere in triple digit area during activity peaks. I would recommend using quickmatch for matchmaking though.
