We have a choice: Correct German JU-52 German plane for jumping OR new content. I'll let you decide.
I'm no developer but I imagine it's not too difficult to switch out character models. It wouldn't need to be reanimated or anything if I'm not mistaken.
@LexenYou can change the soldiers to German fine (still likely with a lot of work) but the plane itself is actually an allied model. So for 100% perfect accuracy they would actually need to design an entirely new plane to jump out of as well.
I'm pretty sure they literally can just switch out the character models. They do this all the time in games. That's basically how you can select different skins for your own characters.
As for the plane, you're right, I could see that taking time if they haven't developed it.
What I don't understand is why they didn't do this in the first place knowing they were going to have this sequence.
