First off, I'm glad you're enjoying BFV; it's no BF3 or 1 but I think they still improved on a lot of things.
It could really be down to any number of things - Frostbite is apparently very hard to optimize, internal shake ups, creative and marketing butting, various bugs rearing their head, etc. etc.
To bring up your other point about D-Day and stuff - the dev team wanted to shift the focus to some of the lesser known battles and the community really didn't seem to like that.
You can make your plea over in the main forums though I'm not sure how well the average forum goer will react. Don't worry though - servers aren't shutting down so we can still enjoy all we currently have (plus some potential content in June).
Despite various issues, I like how V improved some things - As long as they take what they learned here, I think putting all hands on deck for the next title is the right way to go 🙂
