Why I can't play Battlefield V online with my friends ?

My friend buy battlefield V today, I want to play with he. We add friend on our EA app, but I find my friend list in Battlefield V is empty. What can I do?

    @WSYHFUT There is an option that you need to re-login to your account or restart the EA app or restart the computer (this is the absolute worst case)
