Why is NOBODY throwing out ammo boxes?

I remember playing lots of Bad Company 2 10+ years ago. Ammo boxes were everywhere. Or you could just shoot the ammo guy with a pistol and he would instantly drop it. NOWADAYS it is quite common for...

You can get more exp using pouches.  People ignore the crate
