Why no basic PS5 upgrade?

Can you ask any of the devs who worked on the old game to put a simple patch out so PS5 owners have more of a reason to play the game and buy items...

Just a patch that'd allow higher resolution or FPS would be greatly appreciated by the battlefield community and would earn some goodwill after 2042.

They would all benefit from a patch and some of the games run on the same engine.

Is there not 1 dev and 1 QA that could work on this?

    Its not a small upgrade to do, and you will be pulling away from other comiitments the team would be wokring on, in short no. 

    There are no current plans for an update at this stage.

    That’s kinda wild… considering bf2042 is unplayable and other companies upgrade games all the time.
