Xbox One Chat not showing

In BF V I have turned on the option to show sqaud requests but none of the show now after the update. I have restarted the game, reset my setting and changed it multiple times. I cant even see what my sqaud lead chooses as an objective on occasion. I also cant complete any of the tides of war objectives. Restarting game and system have not worked. Very disappointed because I actually like this game but it's frustrating to not have any progress counted. Or to be able to effectively communicate.
