    Hey there @chewonit14

I searched our forum boards and I see that it's only posted one other time where a player was disconnected from the servers when doing this. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Recording-game-clip-on-xbox-disconnects-user-from-ea-servers/m-p/7171965/highlight/true#M670

With the amount of players out there on Xbox it's likely we would see many more reports about this if it was a common issue. It's very possible this can be fixed with some basic troubleshooting with the console.

Have you tried the following below?

    1. Power cycle the console: http://bit.ly/XB1_PowerCycle
    2. Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.
    3. Check the online and local storage for all your recorded clips to see if it's close to being full. Clear up some space if that's the case.
    4. Delete your Gamertag from the console and re-add it.
    5. Reinstall the game (if it's on an external hard drive and it's always doing this, try installing it on the internal to see if that has any effect)
    6. Adjust the amount of time you can record the clip for (last 30 seconds, 1 minute, etc.)
