Hello @angela683
I have tried the solutions that you mentioned and came to the following conclusion:
1. Update Network Drivers - All drivers are constantly kept up to date. Also, I see no issues or spikes during downloading, speed tests or ping tests.
2. Check for Game Updates - As I mentioned I have reinstalled the game day before yesterday after the issue came up, hence, I am certain that the game is up to date.
3. Use the VPN - I doubted that this could be the issue considering that both BF 1 and SW Battlefront II work without an issue but I tested it and the disconnects continued.
4. Run System File Checker - Tried it as well, it did not solve the problem.
5. Perform a Clean Boot - Unfortunately, this is the only solution I am not willing to attempt. Considering the possible loss of data, the problems heavily outweigh the gains, not to mention that, in that case, as I have mentioned above, I should probably have the similar problems with other games that also use EA Servers, and I have no such issue.
While I do thank you for your time and effort, I'm afraid that the suggested solutions were not helpful in this case.
Best Regards,
Stranac
I have the same issue and it's been going on for months.
Tried everything besides reinstalling Windows.
Only difference, I have the same issue with BF2042 as well.
And we're not alone. Bunch of other people report the problem, but EA just doesn't care.
I have the issue on both laptop and desktop and using both optic fiber and 4G connection.
No problem with the connection of other apps or games provided through Steam.
Btw, where are you from mate?
