Chapter 13 - killing the boss.

I am sure this has been asked 10,000 times before as it seems to be a common issue, but the stupid harpoons dont stick in the Hydra bug thing on chapter 13 after the first try, and this glitch is keeping me from killing it on the first try. In other words, I cannot progress. The game has almost been out for half a year, you would think they would have fixed this glitch already. It is starting to frustrate me as I have spent a few hours doing everything everyone else says to do to beat the boss, but NOTHING WORKS. 

im having this problem as well and ive tried every "fix" i can find and nothing works this game has been out for too long for there not to be a fix yet this is ridiculous  

I have the bug where the boss wont rip apart when its speared with the harpoons I have tried every "fix" I can find on the internet from remapping my keybinds changing the resolution redoing the whole chapter (several times as I would redo it with each fix) and absolutely none of this has worked this is an absolute outrage that this hasn't been patched yet since its been happening since the game launched EA and/or Origin needs to fix this

in chapter 13 like many other pc user when you get to the spider boss you cant rip him apart he keeps breaking free no matter what level what can i do to get pass this error on gamce

It is not 'SOLVED', it is an ongoing problem.

I have custom build PC now and have no problems at all now.
