chapter 13 boss not dying?

I'm also having this problem. Even after destroying all it's "tongues" it still doesn't die.

I've tried repairing the install,(no corrupt files) restarting the game and restarting my PC.

Please help!

I'm having the same problem. I read on one of the other forums some guy just restarted the chapter and he killed it no problem. I tried that and it hasnet worked for me. Still you might want to try it if you havent already. Its really starting to piss me off to because im finding a lot people who are having the same problem. But no one has a solution!

m8 its the same problem as in chapter 9  - just set ALL video settings to minimum and u will be surprised.

I dont know how it is connected. 

This problem will return to you in chapters 17-18 one more time ( you will fall in textures in such scene with high video settings.

As for me, this game cries for patch....

No action button appear ? turn video settings to minimum

Pushing action button does no effect? turn video settings to minimum

You keep failing into the textures in some cases? turn video settings to minimum

You have random sudden deaths in chapter 19 with no reason? turn video settings to minimum

etc etc etc

And now add problems with bots, autosave fails, ratio seals not usable at all....

I am also having this problem, I have reverted to last checkpoint, restarted chapter and have set graphics to low and I am still having this problem.

Try to lower resolution, turn off sync, make sure that EVERYTHING is at possible minimum, try fullscreen windowed mode.

Worked for me and 2 my friends.

Nurglet you sir are a life saver. I Got it to work, put it on lowest graphics setting, 1024 x 768 wide, Fullscreen windowed and no vsync and it works.

can you send me your save game file because for me it didnt work , 

The save file is in the C:\Users\yourname\Documents\EA Games\Dead Space 3 and it looks like this ds3_v1_slot_02
