I can't dismantle or remove anything without losing it and the ability to craft another completely.

I've had a lot of issues with the weapon bench freezing when I make weapons and then I lose them. Didn't happen till I started side missions so if you did the side missions maybe it is a weapon part or cerect you picked up.
