Dead Space 2 Black Screen on Startup

I bought the game back when it was new, so I didn't get it through Steam or Origins. I recently reinstalled the game again on my computer and had two issues. The first issue I found a way around was the release date check. The second issue is when I launch the game. It loads for a few seconds, then the blue circle indicating the game is loading disappears, and the game will just sit there indefinitely on a black screen until you close the window. I reinstalled the first game and had no issues of this sort, so it seems only to affect the second game. If there are any tips on what may be the issue I'd be very appreciative.

I also reinstalled the game early in 2014 and didn't have any problems then. Since then I got a new hard drive and did a fresh install of my OS. I've attached a copy of my DxDiag, and MSInfo32.
