dead space 2 release date

hi i just bought dead space 2 and it says just before launching it the release date check failed,.... PLEASE HELP☹️

    @BUSTER-RAT

    In Origin, click the Origin menu, Application settings, select Automatically keep my games up to date. Exit Origin and restart it, let any updates to the game download and install. Retry at that point.

    Do let us know if this allows you to play.

    Downloaded the link given in the first post for my DVD version. It works. However, I didn't need it for the patched version with all the elite suits. That launches from the game's folder and from Origin as a non-Origin game (!). Using the automatic updates feature overwrites the ALOT mods for Mass Effect so it's off all the time.
