Dead Space 2 thinks I have a controller when I dont. Fixes dont work.

So I bought Dead Space 2 yesterday, and when I come to play it, it picks up that I have a Xbox controller connected. I dont. I have followed all the fix guides on the internet in changing the

Pad.RightStick.X = Z-Axis 
Pad.RightStick.Y = Z-Rotation 

to blanks and removing all my USB devices except for keyboard and mouse and I am still having the same problems. I was hoping to play this game today but I cant. I am having to uninstall and reinstall and hoping it works. What should I do?
