Dead space 3 Chapter 16 Stasis does not work on killer fan

Deadspace 3, end of Chapter 16.   In the last wall descend scene before the killer fan, the stasis stop working, does not work on enemies or killer fan. Reloading game or Chapter restart or change suit or lower resolution does not help either. The stasis has been working up to this point.

I am stuck...Any help or suggestion will be much appreciated.
