Dead Space 3 Connecting Loop [PS3]

I've recently downloaded Dead Space 3 from the PlayStation Store. As soon as I begin the game, I start a Co-op Campaign. After a few hours of playing, I've got to go so I use the Save and Quit option from the pause menu, quit the game, turn PS3 off. Next day, I load my save file, and it automatically begins connecting to the EA Servers. This is perfect. Except even after half an hour, it's still trying to connect.

I try this multiple times and no matter how long I wait, it still appears to go on forever. I end up deleting the save file and starting from scratch. The new file connects easily enough with no issues in the least, I go co-op, run through a few different partners until I meet somebody who sticks with me for several chapters. We end up playing until the early hours of the next day and we both end up leaving at about 3AM or 4AM. I get up today, load save file, and try to connect to the EA servers. And, again, it has stuck on a connecting loop. I can cancel it and try again, but it doesn't seem to connect either way.

Any ideas what my issue may be?
