Dead Space 3 Xbox One - Log-in Failed

I'm trying to log in on my old 360 save (thank you backwards compatibility), so I can link that save data to my EA account and from there transfer it to my Steam account, which I purchased the Dead Space trilogy bundle on. However, to do so I need to connect to the EA servers, and I can't. On loading my save, it attempts to connect, and I'm met with the following error:


It shows up every time I try and connect to EA servers via the 'x' button, as well. I have the online pass addon installed. An actual, feasible solution besides "Did you follow these guidelines" would be GREATLY appreciated, as that is the ONLY response I have seen on the other posts about this sort of issue, and not a single one has been resolved.
