i am not so deep into programming as i would like to but is it that hard to make a game like Dead Space not only using 60Hz as refresh rate? I mean hese games are normally developed on a PC so maybe there should be a possibility to make this value conditional, right?
My problem is that a)the display itself supports 60Hz and b) the intel driver supports 60Hz but the whole lenovo y50-70 is designed with 48Hz. I think it is because at that time the intel driver was only able to use 48Hz. As you might have read it is some kind of locked in the laptops BIOS that i only can use 48Hz. Its really a pitty...
Do you have some kind of solution for my whole problem here?

Community ManagerAs per the Lenovo forum thread it appears the only way you will be able to play this game on that laptop is with a BIOS update. Sorry I do not have better news.
is there a way to accept that as a solution? I am not abe to find the button :D
I am not the only one having this issue with the Lenovo Y50-70 but it apparently doesn´t sound like Lenovo is going to provide a Bios-Update for that. And the real problem is, that there are a lot of games using 60Hz refresh rate as a "starting up" criteria which (i think) were ported from a console to PC...
