Deadspace 3 coop crash to desktop when joining/being joined

Having an issues with ds3 crashing to desktop without a crash report pop up. Bought this game to play multi player with the wife, would love to have this fixed.  

This happens the moment I try to join her, or vice versa. we are both on the same router, both hard wired in. Couldn't find anyone else with the same issue.

PC specs below. 

MoBo, Z270-AR

CPU, Intel i7-7700k @ 4.1 (tried with and without O/C same crash)

GPU, Geforce GTX 1070 Zotac mini

Ram, 32 GB 2133 

Hard drive, 1TB SATA 3 SSD

Gaming Drive, 1TB External SSD
