Drill Sergeant Achievement on Xbox 360/ PS3

So as many people are already aware the Drill Sergeant achievement/Trophy seems to work for some people and not others. I am one of these unfortunate people who its not worked for. Ive followed various different ways of getting this done ( IGN etc). Im sure alot of other players have done the same and every time I do the achievement perfectly (Not being hit, not damage), walk to the door and still it wont pop. Anyone else have any ideas??

When did the Bug occur?

 

In chapter 10 Drill room

 

What did you do before you experienced the Bug?

 

I killed every enemy and destroyed the yellow fuses without taking any hits/damage and then moved toward the door after the comms had finished.Well 

 

What did you expect to happen?

 

Well I expected to get the Achievement.

    Well there is a work around it seems. 

    Step One: Go to the coring platform (Drill Room).

    Step Two: Start the drill off as normal but when the first necromorphs appear let them hit you, once hit Save and Quit.

    Step Three: Load last save (this should put you back at the enterance to the Coring Platform (Drill Room)

    Step Four: Take the drill out without being hit or taking any damage etc.

    Step Five: Walk to the door leading out of the room, the Achievement/Trophy will pop.

    Good luck out there, Hope this works as it has for me.

    Thank you so much!!!!

    After more then 30 attempts (with co-op, without, with foam finger, without, classic, pure survival,...)

    Now just the fodder axes left...

    Also; EA, make sure your game is free of glitches before putting in a trophy for hardcore!!!

    happend 3 times; getting out of an elevator and everything is dark and screen fills up with blood; wtf??

    backed up my game after the first time (was early in the game thankfully), but this should not be happening!!!

    Also my co-op partner had the same thing at the end sequence; we were lucky we had the backups...
