fps drop down on dead space 3

i have an asus laptop with intel core i7 4720 hq gtx 960m graphics card with latest driver 16 gb ram and ssd harddrive 64 bit Windows 8.1 the problem is when i play the game dead space 3 on 1280x...

Try the following to ensure the 960M is being used rather than the IGP on the CPU.

  1. Open the nvidia control panel
  2. Manage 3D settings, Program settings tab
  3. Click add to choose the program to customize
  4. Click browse and choose the Dead Space 3 executable file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dead Space 3\deadspace3.exe
  5. Set your graphics preferences and click apply.

If the issue persists it may also be worthwhile to update/reinstall your video drivers. Choose Custom Install and then Clean Install being sure to select the video driver and PhysX driver.
