My PS3 keep shutting down when I play Dead Space 3

What is the modal of ps3 you are using dead space wont play on some of the older ps3. If that is not the issue then you will have to pray and hop ea comes out with another patch but they have not got back to a lot of people in a wile. I know it's frustrating I can't play this game ether and it anose the heack out of me and I'm a die hard dead space fan.

    Sounds like a defective hard-drive or CPU on the playstation itself. You've proved it yourself by trying two disks and everyone else can play fine. I'd recommend sending your PS3 in for repairs or buy a newer one (or wait for PS4)

      He said it only happins with this game why would anything be wrong with his ps3 there are a lot of people having this issue some are freezing in game play some are freezing at main menu. Like I said before just pray ea comes out with a patch and play another game for a wile. Your ps3 is most likly fine people have been telling me mine is brockin every time one game freezis a lot and I have had it for 3 years still runs good.

      I have played this game on 4 different ps3 consoles. 60gb original , 2 320gb slim, and one 500 gb white model. Used 3 - YES THREE different DS3 discs and logged in as 4 different users.  Everyone of the PS3's and every disc and user name will freeze at various points. Check out the thread "report your bugs here" for deadspace three and go tell all those people that there consoles are broken or about to die. Everyone else does NOT play fine. I can play DS2 , mass effect 3 , need for speed MW , and countless other games on all my consoles (8 of them) no other game in my inventory will freeze like deadspace 3.

        I don't know if you tried this yet it's a slim chance it will help but you could go to safe mode a restore systom files. If that dont work you can restore the database. To get to safe mode you have to hold the power button down till you hear 2 seperet beeps. Then hold the button till you hear another beep continue holding till you heir 2 beeps together then relese your finger. Number 3 will not delete your data unless it can't be restored. Number 4 will set all setings back to factory settings you might have to re orginize you music. If none of that works chose number 6 to restore ps3 systom back up data because you will loss it all. It worth a try if you want to do it. If it still is a issue you are going to have to wate for a patch if ea is going to give us another one.
