PC port of dead space 3 has failed

Ok so dead space 2 and 3 are nearly the same specs to run them them.  My question is why does dead space 2 run flawlessly when dead space 3 crashes after about 20 minutes of game time every time.  It either immediately crashes or it endless loops a small piece of sound and freezes until I restart it.

My specs.

Intel i5-2410M CPU@ 2.3GHz

6.1GB RAM

GeForce GT 540M

- pixel shader version 5.0

- vertex shader version 5.0

- dedicated video RAM 2.1GB

400+GB free space on the disk drive

    Hi suicidezerker!

Please  check your video-card driver first. Get sure that you have installed the latest version of your driver. Go to your Options menu under graphic quality: "custom settings". You should now be able to access to the "custom render settings" menu. Please disable all graphic enhancements in this menu.

Go to your custom settings of your video-card software. Disable all extra options for enhanced graphics and set the preferences for AA and anisotropic to “use application settings”.

Launch the game, if the issue is solved, you can try to set the graphic options higher.

Please keep us updated. Accept as solutions if the issue is solved or let us know if not. Our community may find other possible workarounds.

    Cheers

So I'm really not sure how this worked but the solution you gave me was the fastest time I have recorded of crashing during gameplay.  It took a total of 6 minutes for it to shutdown everything.  It has run at least nearly consistenetly on windowed and low settings for about 20-25minutes at a time before crashing.
