@qeezbee okay first of all, it will be unfortunately very hard to restore your progress aka savegame if the game had a hard crash with your power outage. Have you already tried to repair the game via Origin (click with the right mouse button on DS3 in Origins "My Games" library and choose "Repair Install") or to completely remove and re-install the game?

Yes, I have used the "Repair Game" function in the Origin interface 5 times now, but that made no difference at all unfortunately.
I have not yet tried to uninstall and re-install the game though, since I'm assuming that will definitely wipe all my progress completely.
I also tried to delete all files in my Program Data and AppData Roaming folders, that also had no effect at all.
It feels like whatever file records the game progress status of that save slot I was on is missing or corrupted.
Just to clarify, I was on my first playthrough (PC), using the first save slot in the game, which was at 91% complete after having played about 138 hours.
Now it's showing as 0.00% complete with 138 hours played.
After finishing the main game, I was trying to go back to previous chapters and attempted to complete some of them on a higher difficulty and also to collect missed achievements. That's when this hard crash happened.
Other than my progress status being "wiped" the game also crashes when I reach certain parts of chapter 11, for example, or when I try to switch between "weapon craft arena" and an in-game chapter.
The 2 issues; the progress loss and gameplay crashes must be obviously related.
I haven't even got a chance to play the "Awakened" DLC yet, and if this was a less addictive game, I would just give up and play something else .

So what suggestions do you have?
Start a new save slot and cross my fingers or uninstall the game which guarantees complete loss of all my 138 hours of progress?
I already moved on and I am playing other games but I just wanted to confirm that I can write off Dead Space 3, since this progress loss problem and crashing issue is beyond any possible help ?
