Found the shader cache location. It's in Documents/Dead Space (2023)/cache
I tried deleting the contents, and started the game again. It did try generating shaders again when launching for about a minute, but there were still a lot of big stutters. Going by the amount of stutters, as well as the dates files were modified in that folder, it's clear that the shader compilation isn't catching very much for me.
My cache folder size is 70.5 MB, just from part of the first level. I'm curious what a full shader cache size should be for this game, and if there's a way to force a full generation of shaders?
