[Steam] Dead Space 2 CD Code Not Working

I bought Dead Space 2 from Steam a month or so ago and wanted to play multiplayer, but can't connect to the EA servers. From what I saw online, people suggested redeeming the CD key on the EA account...

@Uvarovite_G When you try to contact live support through the Help site, what are you running into? When you go through the normal steps of setting up a case, can you take a screenshot of where you get stuck at for me?
