Ea are you guys working on this issue is there going to be a patch soon
It sounds like your saves are being corrupted. When you started a new game, did you delete your previous save completely or did you just return to the prologue through chapter select? Even if they patch this issue, it is unlikely to repair your current saves.
Also, it is unlikely, but have you noticed any hangs or delays in other games? Not crashes, just delays. It could be an indicator that the internal hard drive has become damaged. Again, its very unlikely but a possibility.
- No I backed the files up and then I started a new game slot over my old file. Now that you mentshon I have hade some lags on dead space 1 and most wanted. Out of all 22 of my games though only 7 or 8 of them have had issues some full on freeze some just have a quick freeze that come back from it. But a lot of them are random freezes that don't always happin.
Also the ps3 dose not get that hot if that matersSince I initially responded to your post, I've come to the conclusion that something is corrupting the save files and that it is not limited to the PS3 version. There has been very little commonality between the instances however. Some are losing scavenger drones. Some can start new games (different game modes) based off of a previous save but are unable to chapter select or play the save itself.. Others are losing their ability to autosave and unable to progress in any chapters.
I haven't heard if there are any plans for a patch yet, but I do know that it is usually unlikely that they will patch it to repair your saves.
I'm sorry that I haven't been much help, but this one appears to be out of our hands at the moment. You could check Google or this forum for other possible solutions but I haven't been able to find any. If you find one, let us know!
- Hay thanks for your help so when a patch comes out I'm most Liikly going to have to start my game over. Also I've been to google a lot the only patch for the game is 1.02 and it realy is a useless patch.
