11 years agoAudio Cuts in and Out
Having audio issues. The sound is cutting in and out. But not all of it. For example the background sound at the start of the game, wind, explosions ect will cut in and out but if Cassandra is talkin...
Alternatively, try this:
You need to go into the control panel for your sound card and manually change the sound to Stereo. The game thinks you're using 5.1 speakers and is playing the voiceover on a nonexistant front center channel, so all you can hear is a faint echo in the right and left surround.
im not using headphones and on ps3. you said fautly wireing so i mess with my audio wire and now i can hear the voice THANK YOU SO MUCH!! now i can play 🙂
Give me XP if I helped solve your problem.
More XP means that they'll solve my problems faster 🙂
EDIT: Most of these types of problems are due to wiring. I use to work at an electronic store and had complaints of this kind almost every day.
gave you xp thanks again even if there alot of other bugs atleast i can now start playing 🙂
Its definitly not the headphones. And they have always been setup as stereo, and I just rechecked to be sure. I hooked it up via HDMI too my TV and had same issue of TV speakers and through my HT that it outputs too. I have tried various TV/HT settings in the menu with these and same issue all around. Music is 100% fine, voice overs/cutscenes converations never an issue. Its only enviromental sounds, like at the start of the game, the wind blowing and the explosions you can hear from them debri hitting ground and combat sounds.
Never had any such issue in the past games ive played.

This is exactly my problem as well. Combat sounds are choppy and pops every now and then, as well as environment sounds cut in and out. Do you also have the really echo-y footsteps whenever the environment audio cuts out? That's really annoying. Any help would be apriciated!
