Dragon Age Inquisition on Steam and EA App
I have DAI on steam. Every time the EA App updates, I usually have to uninstall and reinstall the app and relink it to my steam account for the game to boot. I have tried this after the recent update that had a new user agreement, but the game won’t boot at all. When I click ‘play’ it launches the EA app to try and boot it but then just crashes - the game doesn’t even show up on my taskbar. I am assuming this is because the update messed with the “handshake” between the EA app and Steam. I cannot play my game at all.31Views0likes2CommentsWhy are Dragon Age releases so broken on Deck?
I don't understand why Origins through Inquisition can't be re-released in a single, sensible, playable format like Mass Effect Legendary,* which works beautifully. Consistent connection to the Keep across the games, no broken links, with full Deck/Linux compatibility. Why is that difficult? Please, EA. I bought a Steam Deck because it was a cost-effective alternative to the full gaming PC I'll never be able to afford, and I pretty much just want to play Dragon Age, right now. Links in Origins are broken. Gamepad compatibility is rotten. Gamepad connection in Inquisition is non-existent (it ALMOST works with native Proton tools 😭). I've been fighting with it for weeks. I'm tired of experimenting with 3rd party stuff that doesn't work, and I'm admittedly more than a bit devastated. I just want these to be playable games. Please. * (Editing to say that I'm not asking for a remaster. We don't want or need it. I just want the games to be normally functional and playable. 🙏)Daemonnightfall7 days agoRising Newcomer29Views0likes0CommentsMerging Accounts? Specifically for Dragon Age continuity
I played disc version of dragon age origins as a kid, then bought it on steam as a teen, then bought it AGAIN on origin APP, then forgot all that and bought 2 and inquisition on a DIFFERENT account. So I've got two different accounts, and no way to link them! I know the "dragon keep" I can build my own story but it's saving stories wrong when i play, and none of the DLC for DA 2 is even accessible when I try to play it. I remember spending hours trying to fix this a few years ago with EA on the phone and doing whatever BS they said, but it boiled down to, they're incompetent. Any ideas on using save files existing to start new games?Buck_Gaming19887 days agoRising Newcomer53Views0likes1CommentDragon Age Inquisition not launching. Xbox series x
DAI crashes at EA logo on Xbox Series X — black screen then closes. Never reaches main menu. Steps already tried: • Fresh reinstall multiple times • Tested on two Xbox Series X consoles (UK and Qatar) • Moved from external to internal storage • Uninstalled all DLC, tested base game only • Full uninstall and clean reinstall Going offline before launch fixes the crash, confirming it’s an EA license verification issue at startup. Cannot use this workaround permanently due to Xbox gameshare setup requiring my Home Xbox to be set to a family member’s console. The game crashes instead of showing an error when license check fails. Please investigate on the account/license side.35Views0likes0CommentsMy mouse cursor is missing in DA:I
Hi everyone. My mouse cursor is just non existent in DA:I from the moment I launch the game. I've tried toggling the view from mirrored to windowed and back again, I've also changed some things in the game files that old forum discussions suggested would fix the problem. It's, ironically, a game of the year edition that I bought off Steam. Does any one have any advice that might help? Trying to play DA Origins on Windows 11, but whenever I try to launch I get an invalid license missing dll error code. I've tried downloading the nvidia physx solution, but it doesn't make a difference. Is there any other solution out there? I have the game installed on external drive if that makes a difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! (cm edit - consolidated threads for visibility)SolvedSstgr8 days agoNot applicable15KViews0likes62CommentsCant load Origins

Problem, I live in Australia and you only call America or Canada. I need help, but can not receive it, so what am I to do? Any help would be appreciated.emmawriter16 days agoNot applicable392Views0likes4Comments[Old] PC - Dragon Age II 🐲 DLC Not Available To Download
It's one of those posts again! I got Dragon Age II years ago somehow (my old Origin app had an activation date of 2015 - apparently this was from the Humble Origin Bundle 2?), and I just noticed that I never got the DLCs that were given away, my copy of the game says it's the Standard Edition (see attached photos) and there is no way for me to get the missing DLCs without buying the game again. I just spent the past day trying to figure out what to do but nothing I found online seems to have worked. I have: Cleared my EA app cache, logged out and in again; Downloaded the free DLC add-ons from https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/#dragonage/ and installed them (they show up as "Unauthorized" in the game); Logged in to the Dragon Age keep to unlock the content manually there; Logged in to my EA account via the game; Synced the accounts between the keep and my computer manually several times; Uninstalled and reinstalled the game; Deleted the contents of the licenses folder; Cleared all my characters at the Dragon Age keep. Nothing seems to work. The game insists that I have to buy it again to get the DLC content. So what can I do? Do I have to buy the game again?SolvedFoxhackDN16 days agoRising Traveler7.1KViews1like124CommentsDA2 DLC Unauthorized - How do I activate it?
My DA2 DLC keeps showing as unauthorized. I reached out to 2 agents and none were of help. They told me the DLC is delisted and nothing can be done. I've downloaded the DLC from this link here: https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/#dragonage and except for Exiled Prince and Black Emporium they all show as unauthorized. The quests show up in my game and I can even access the DLC but once I save and try to reload it will not work and says the DLC are unauthorized. I remember claiming both the Ultimate Editions of DAO and DA2 on Origin back in the day. DAO still shows as Ultimate Edition but DA2 only shows as Standard Edition. I've tried to repair it twice and my addons only show the Ser Isaac Armor, Black Emporium and Exiled Prince. How do I get the other DLC to show up and get activated to my account?Eternal_Dust16 days agoNot applicable1.2KViews0likes6CommentsPC - Dragon Age: Inquisition || No DLC available in-game
Hello, I have DA:I through EA Play, which I have through Xbox Game Pass. This includes the GOTY Edition which has all of the DLC. I can confirm this through the fact that both are listed as GOTY edition (EA and Xbox) and the fact I have installed all of the DLC alongside the base game. My issue is that the DLC is not available in the game, at all, whatsoever. I have checked multiple times, I have installed the whole bundle of Game + DLC at once, then reinstalled it all, then uninstalled the DLC and manually reinstalled it. Nothing I do seems to work at all. I have asked EA Help Chat about this issue and I was told I do not have the subscription which is why I can't play it, but I do have the subscription and I can indeed play the base game, just without any of the DLC. I am sure this is some sort of licensing issue that my account has encountered when it comes to EA Play and Xbox Game Pass or something of the sort.39Views0likes0CommentsWhy is it so difficult
I bought Dragon Age Inquisition yesterday, put the disc in my PS4 and looked forward to playing my new game, but no - we need verification, OK did this - we need to link to your PS account, OK did this - we need the unlock code for your phone ?!!, OK did this, after many codes being sent and entered the game eventually started playing fine. I put the disc back in today and it is asking all the same questions again before I can play. What more do you want ? - I have given you verification, I have linked my PS account - short of serving you the head of my first born on a silver platter, what do I have to do ?90946228 days agoRising Newcomer82Views0likes0CommentsDAO Ultimate not linking to my EA account
About two years ago I bought DAO Ultimate on my steam account, along with dragon age 2 and inquisition. while inquisition and 2 are both showing on my ea library, origins is not. i've looked for a fix, but since steam doesn't show the cd key anymore i fear i'm at a loss. the game keeps crashing on steam and i heard its more stable through the ea launcher. is there a way to solve this or will i be forced to buy the game again through ea?108Views0likes1CommentDon't want Dragon age Origins Remake .
I personally don't think we need the 2009 hit dragon age origins remake I think this game will always be a classic electronics EA Game . A legacy. The game graphics are top notch the gameplay is great and the Management for gear, weapons, and menus are easy to have and manage.51Views0likes0Commentspraise for Dragon age 2 auto health regeneration after combat feature part 2 .
Both Dragon age Origins and dragon age 2 had the awesome auto health regeneration after combat feature. I love origins and 2 for its customization, weapons, armor and classes I always love the 2 games that other 2 dragon age games Inquisition and veilguard will never have the most important feature that was extremely helpful the auto health regeneration after each combat encounters . I roleplay the cool elf mage in origins and human rouge in da2 .39Views0likes0CommentsDragon age Inquisition auto health regeneration after combat update coming .
This is the update coming soon we need . The auto health regeneration after combat feature might come as a future update patch for dragon age Inquisition as a final quality of life update overall that only the casual mode players can enjoy the game without worrying about so much potion usages and instead rely on auto health regeneration in each battle encounters .59Views0likes0Comments
