Urgent technical question about: Two current run throughs, both at the end of Trespasser, and neither of them have triggered a reaction from companions before we go to the Darvaarad (when they ask about how the hand is doing), not even my Dorian romance. Why is this?14Views0likes1CommentRemaster DA
As someone who still keeps their PlayStation 3 plugged in just to continue experiencing the masterpiece that is Dragon Age: Origins. The story, the characters, the choices, the world building everything about that game captured a level of depth and immersion that few modern titles can match. It’s not just nostalgia; it’s excellence. I truly believe there is a huge untapped opportunity in remastering Dragon Age: Origins and ideally Dragon Age II as well for modern platforms. Many fans myself included would gladly pay The Mass Effect Legendary Edition showed that there’s a strong demand and massive appreciation for respectful remasters of iconic BioWare titles. Why not do the same for Dragon Age? Not only that it would rake in so much money!Lizmira06092 days agoNewcomer13Views0likes0CommentsDAI RIP (for me, at least)
Some way, some how I am still having issues with trying to play Dragon Age Inquisition, now on my Series X. This whole delete profile, saves/cache didn't do it, going offline didn't help. Now I see DA Veilguard is coming to Game Pass/EA Play & I still cannot get back into Inquisition. This problem has persisted way too long & I just want to play my game20Views0likes0CommentsCannot download Dragon Age: Origins due to 'not owning the game' on EA App.
Hello there. I have found a bug. I tried downloading Dragon Age: Origins on EA App, but it was unsuccessful due to the bug I captured in a cap and sent in an attachment below. I own the game, I would even pay for Ultimate Edition, but this feels weird. If anyone from EA support sees this, can this be solved? Thank you.GeneralMacek4 days agoRising Novice22Views0likes1CommentEA CEO on why DA: The Vailguard failed....
EA CEO Says Dragon Age: The Veilguard Failed to 'Resonate With a Broad Audience,' Gamers Increasingly Want 'Shared-World Features'..... you know what doesn't "resonate" with fans of games you publish? micro transactions, loot boxes, p2w elements, rushed products, dumbed down features, poor writing for story driven games. Everytime I try to launch the game, it says it's failed. I got the game on Epic Games, which I then added to the EA App library (it's registered there) but can't launch it via NVIDIA Geforce NOW. I've made a separate post about this on THEIR forum, no response, though. They don't have an option to launch it only through Epic Games and I'd rather not get it again on Steam-.b88vq6h7hyl45 days agoRising Newcomer57Views0likes2CommentsGame I own not able to play after Gamepass subscription cancelled
I have owned Dragon Age Origins for years and after having Gamepass for a few months I can no longer access the game. I couldn't open it when it was installed, was advised to uninstall it by EA Help, this didn't fix it and the EA app now thinks I don't own the game. But the game is in my Library. I don't even have a purchase option in the EA Store because you can't buy games that are already on your account! Please fix this ASAP so I can access a game that I own. Thanks.Nafen0607 days agoNew Novice150Views0likes10CommentsCan't launch Dragon Age II from EA app
Hello, When I try to launch Dragon Age II from the EA app, I am prompted to sign in to my Origin account to activate the game. However, Origin shut down earlier this year, so I cannot login or create an account. When I cannot log in, I get a message saying I cannot activate my game until I login to Origin. This makes it impossible for me to play the game. How do I solve this problem? Thank you, any help is greatly appreciated!40Views0likes0CommentsDAI freezes in Redcliffe Village
I've just discovered this game for the first time thanks to Epic Games and I'm loving it. I've had ZERO problems playing the game for now 35 hours. However, upon reaching the village of Redcliffe my game freezes (game is completely hung and I have to force quit) when I enter the area by the story teller. I've found MANY posts about this exact problem in this exact area and tried all the things suggested (which I'll list below) but nothing has solved it. I'm hoping there is a fix that I haven't found because I really love this game so far and would love to explore this village. I've had a lot of problems with Dragon Age Inquisition, specifically the multiplayer, but this might be just the most bizarre one yet. I'm getting help with Graphics card issues, but this is a new one. I came back from a hotel yesterday. I was there for a week. I used their wifi. For some reason, I was unable to interact with items with my mouse. I can't open doors or loot anything. I have to use the interact key, F. How do I fix this? Even going back gome didn't help.Mistermovieman16 days agoRising Adventurer33Views0likes1Comment[PC] Dragon Age "Unauthorized DLC" Error After Launch
Hello, Thedas! PC players may encounter an error that says something similar to the "Unauthorized DLC", or your DLC does not show up within the game after being installed and therefore are not able to load a save, or play the downloaded content. Below are the most common reasons and steps to help resolve these errors and get you back into the game! Causes Corrupted install of DLC (happens quite often) EA account had an EA Play subscription which has now expired A different EA account logged in and downloaded the DLC Your account does not have the proper entitlements to download the DLC You can test this out by performing the following on one of the DLC folders, or delete all folders. Navigate to C:\Program Files\EA Games (Or your respective install location) Delete ALL DLC folders with the games "addin" folder I also suggest deleting the metadata folder as well if it does not delete You can find a list of which folders belong to each DLC Here! Folder Locations DA:O: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Dragon Age\addins DA II: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Dragon Age II\addins Once all folders have been deleted, you will want to perform the following steps. These are optional steps but they do help in resolving the issue. Delete Windows Temp Files First, make sure you close as many programs as you can Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer Type in %temp%, and hit Enter Delete everything it allows you to delete Reboot the PC Optional Registry clean-up install CCleaner (it's free) from here Run Registry cleaner Click review selected issues Do you want to back up? No Click Fix all selected issues Finally Make sure the EA app and Steam are closed. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time. Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER Delete all files within this folder. Once all the steps above have been performed, log back into the platform you play the game through, repair the game, and install the DLC. Note: If you are using Steam to play one of these titles, the EA Help article for Legacy DLC players can download is ONLY used for Steam installs. All EA app installs will download DLC within the Manage Add-ons in the EA app! It's one of those posts again! I got Dragon Age II years ago somehow (my old Origin app had an activation date of 2015 - apparently this was from the Humble Origin Bundle 2?), and I just noticed that I never got the DLCs that were given away, my copy of the game says it's the Standard Edition (see attached photos) and there is no way for me to get the missing DLCs without buying the game again. I just spent the past day trying to figure out what to do but nothing I found online seems to have worked. I have: Cleared my EA app cache, logged out and in again; Downloaded the free DLC add-ons from https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/#dragonage/ and installed them (they show up as "Unauthorized" in the game); Logged in to the Dragon Age keep to unlock the content manually there; Logged in to my EA account via the game; Synced the accounts between the keep and my computer manually several times; Uninstalled and reinstalled the game; Deleted the contents of the licenses folder; Cleared all my characters at the Dragon Age keep. Nothing seems to work. The game insists that I have to buy it again to get the DLC content. So what can I do? Do I have to buy the game again?FoxhackDN21 days agoNew Traveler4.1KViews0likes122CommentsDA Origines launch but keeps crashing before I can play
I tried playing the game a few times, even went throught a few internet ask, but I'm not originally an english speaker and have a hard time identificating to said asks. So I launch the game, everything's fine, but then, when I finish creating my character and press "play", the game just... crash. No messages, no nothing, there's just suddenly no game on my screen and I'm face to face with my computer background... and it does that everytime only at that moment. I did install it on an USB hard drive, could the problem come from there?47Views0likes1CommentDragon Age II not launching either through Steam or the EA app
So... I recently bought DA2 with all the DLCs on steam. The Timeline of the problem At first it launched just fine and after adjusting the video settings (1080 resolution and fullscreen), I could play the game with no problems. However the second time I wanted to play it took a couple of tries because it apparently couldn't work in fullscreen (even though when I switched to fullscreen in-game it worked just fine). Then the third time it wouldn't launch no matter what I did: Steam briefly says that the game is executing, an empty EA splash screen appears and then closes, and then the game on steam no longer is executing so it just says 'play' again. I have also noticed just recently that the DLCs are missing for unknown reasons despite them being installed in the game. A couple fixes I have tried tried to run the game as administrator from DragonAgeII.exe. No luck. tried the solution in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1fI4m3q5Fk (it essentially entails switching the EA app to run as admin, clearing EA app's cache files and changing the clock settings) to fix the EA app. This didn't work in and of itself, but... I tried going to the DragonAge2Config.exe to change the video settings and disabled the fullscreen. This coupled with the above fix seemed to have partially solved the problem and I could launch the game through the EA app (not steam) after two tries. However, it resulted to be only a temporary solution and now I still have the same problem that I described. Some additional info My PC supports DirectX11 and switching to DirectX9 in the game has solved nothing. Conclusion I find myself unsure how I should proceed, so I am hoping you guys encountered a similar problem and fixed it or have the knowledge how to fix it.5.9KViews0likes4CommentsDragon Age Origins problem

Hi, I participated in the multiplayer weekend event: http://www.dragonage.com/en_US/news/multiplayer-weekend-event-01-23 I played enough to unlock the Commendation from the first part of the event (loot 25 chests in a part) and recieved the achievement for the Victory chest portion of the event (Community loots 250,000 chests) I logged in today to claim the Victory chest but did not have one and the completed challenges have both dissapeared from the 'Prestige' section of the multiplayer. I contacted customer support via live chat who after consulting a specialist avised me that because it is a studio even I would have to post my issue here to get it resolved. I'm not that fussed about the missing challenges in the prestige section but having taken the time to participate in the event I would really like to get the missing Victory chest.
