Quest won’t update
Hey guys, I recently started playing dragon age origins and I’m on the quest „A Lord's Trust: the second task“. And I did everything I should, ask around about Jarvia find the hideout and kill her but the quest won’t update and I don’t wanna do it again cause I have been doing a lot of sidequest in the meantime. Does anyone has an idea?21021982 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer16Views0likes2Comments[Steam] Dragon Age: Inquisition Will Not Load
Anyone else want to take a stab at this? I purchased this game from Steam several years ago. Finally got a change to download it properly, and - I DOESN'T WORK! Temp files have been cleared, router connection has been reset, the game has been reloaded (several times); basically, anything and everything that has been thought of. I'm still getting the same error from EA. I'm getting frustrated and upset. I can't just get a refund, and EA is no help. Is there anyone out there who wants to help me?317Views0likes4Comments[Under Investigation] PC - Dragon Age II DLC Not Available to Download
It's one of those posts again! I got Dragon Age II years ago somehow (my old Origin app had an activation date of 2015 - apparently this was from the Humble Origin Bundle 2?), and I just noticed that I never got the DLCs that were given away, my copy of the game says it's the Standard Edition (see attached photos) and there is no way for me to get the missing DLCs without buying the game again. I just spent the past day trying to figure out what to do but nothing I found online seems to have worked. I have: Cleared my EA app cache, logged out and in again; Downloaded the free DLC add-ons from https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/#dragonage/ and installed them (they show up as "Unauthorized" in the game); Logged in to the Dragon Age keep to unlock the content manually there; Logged in to my EA account via the game; Synced the accounts between the keep and my computer manually several times; Uninstalled and reinstalled the game; Deleted the contents of the licenses folder; Cleared all my characters at the Dragon Age keep. Nothing seems to work. The game insists that I have to buy it again to get the DLC content. So what can I do? Do I have to buy the game again?FoxhackDN22 hours agoSeasoned Rookie2.8KViews0likes114CommentsCan't install Dragon Age Inquisition through EA Play on PS4/5
I just signed up for EA Play so that I could play Inquisition on my PS5, but I can't find any way to install the game. DA:I is listed on the EA Play playlist under the Playstation section in the signup page (https://www.ea.com/ea-play/games?) , and there is no record of its removal on the list of removals here (https://www.ea.com/ea-play/terms/service-games-updates). Surely I am just missing something. Is there a specific version of the game I need to search for?51Views0likes1CommentInvalid license Dragon Age Origins
When i open Dragon Age Origins from the EA app i get the invalid license error. I have re-installed the app and the game multiple times. Also i've contacted the support of EA but they couuldn't do much. I've repaired the game multiple times. Also i've cleared the cache of the app and made the license folder again but nothing worked. I've checked for updates of the app but i'm up to date. I've also tried it with revo uninstaller to delete the EA app as well as the game it self.joepten2 days agoRising Newcomer46Views0likes3CommentsEA CEO on why DA: The Vailguard failed....
EA CEO Says Dragon Age: The Veilguard Failed to 'Resonate With a Broad Audience,' Gamers Increasingly Want 'Shared-World Features'..... you know what doesn't "resonate" with fans of games you publish? micro transactions, loot boxes, p2w elements, rushed products, dumbed down features, poor writing for story driven games. Have found several old threads about this issue but I am currently having the same problem. I've already tried all the fixes I've seen in the previous threads, deleting temp files, clearing browser caches, Incognito mode, have tried both on laptop and mobile (off wifi) to rule out connection issues etc. Is there anything else I can try? I currently can't access 90% of the keep.288Views0likes6CommentsDragon Age II unauthorized DLC
Been looking everywhere, but all of the solutions I can find are unavailable or don't apply (no Bioware registration site exists anymore, Dragon Age 1&2 servers are down and out forever so I can't log in to my account in-game, I didn't buy the game on Steam or on disc). I have Dragon Age II Ultimate Edition, purchased from EA (Origin, later tried installing via the new EA App) a few weeks ago and all but The Black Emporium show up as unauthorized. I am thus unable to access any other DLC content. I cannot authorize them via logging in to my EA account in-game, as the servers have permanently been taken down. I cannot link the DLC to my account via Bioware's website, as it doesn't exist today. Have tried uninstalling and installing again via both the legacy Origin App and the new EA app. Have tried rebooting my pc between installs. Even tried downloading the very old installers for each DLC, but those complained that I don't have the game installed (incorrect, I did have the game installed when I attempted. Bizarre). And just to be clear, all of the DLC showed up as installed in Origin App and now on the new EA app and they all show up in-game in the main menu, under Downloadable Content. But they remain unauthorized, save for the Black Emporium for whatever reason. Don't much care about the item packs and the like, I'm mostly concerned with being locked out of all of the narrative DLCs and that hurts my simple brain especially since I'm planning on doing the whole Dragon Age Keep song and dance for my current DA1 and DA2 run to export to Inquisition (and eventually to Dreadwolf, should that game make use of the Keep) Did not have any trouble with Dragon Age: Origin DLC, all was enabled in-game. I'll take whatever ideas anyone might have, thank you.Solved2.3KViews1like3CommentsCan’t Unlink Dragon Age Inquisition Tapestry Account from Defunct Email.
I made a tapestry account back in college years ago and I never got around to playing it. I recently played through two and origins and now I’m trying to upload a tapestry I made recently, but I can’t link it to my Xbox because the email previously used is inaccessible to me. Chat Help hasn’t been helpful and I can’t create a new ticket. Any ideas people? I can try to just play the game without Tapestry, but i don’t want to miss out on a unique experience.32Views0likes1CommentNew DAO Update on Steam
Hey, so anyone have an idea what's in the new update for Origins that appeared on Steam recently? I asked EA support and apparently they have no idea about any update and can't tell me what's in it...Not sure how that's possible, but...anyone know?hollybillie11 days agoRising Newcomer113Views0likes1Comment[EA app] Dragon Age Inquisition Won't Launch Get Error With DLC
I have a question maybe one of you can help me with as I cant seem to find it on google or other forums, and ive tried customer service and they kept telling me to clear my cache and reboot the pc. Which I did multiple times and it didnt work. I bought DAI on EA app. Then when I went to buy the DLCS , EA app doesnt have it. It has nothing and hasnt had anything for the DLCS for almost 4 years from what ive seen online. So I went to steam and bought DAI: Game of the year edition instead to have the complete set. Every DLC is obviously included. I then, deleted my save game from the EA app. Uninstalled the EA game version, and removed the folder on my pc. THEN I re-installed the game on the steam app all dlcs are checked marked included. Booted up a new game, but the app logo says DAI and doesn't have the game of year edition titled or logo on it. and when i try to boot a new game? It tells me i dont have any DLCS installed and I have to install them, that I need to update to latest patch of the game (which i did already) I cleared my game cache, I cleared my pc cache, I reinstalled and repaired my game and app, i checked the integrity of the files on steam too. I rebooted the pc, and still have the same result. its not recognizing my DLCS.324Views0likes2Comments- Ritborg17 days agoSeasoned Newcomer136Views2likes4Comments
[PC] - Dragon Age II cannot sign in to EA account (says I am offline)
Dragon Age 2 cannot connect to internet So I got Dragon age 2 from a CD and the installation was fine but then I had problems with SecuROM. After this I downloaded the latest patch of DA2 from this link: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/#dragonage This fixed the SecuROM issue but now I am being asked to sign in to an EA account. When I try logging in it says my email/password is wrong (they're not, I logged in on Chrome and that worked) and if I press create account I get an error saying I am not connected to the internet despite the fact that I am (see attached). Does anyone know how to fix this?Solved741Views3likes5CommentsPS4: How to choose response in optional conversations?
I just got to Val Royeaux and Cassandra makes a remark; There is a greyed-out converstation wheel but I can't figure out how to access the choices and choose. When I try to talk to her by moving towards her and pressing X, it just closes the optional wheel and the conversation moves on. I have pressed every combination of buttons and can not figure out how to choose it. For past optional conversations, all I had to do was talk to the person who spoke and the wheel would become white and allow me to choose the answer. However, in this case moving closes the wheel. So how do you choose an answer?SolvedAnonymous21 days ago3.1KViews0likes3CommentsDragon Age Keep and Dragon Age Inquisition not syncing world states
I have my world state in Dragon Age Keep and it says it's already exported to Dragon Age Inquisition, but when I attempt to make a new save in DAI and import a custom world, it only gives me the option to use the default world state. Nothing I've done has helped this yet and I'm almost at a loss for what could possibly be the problem. As far as I can tell I'm properly logged in both on keep and inquisition, and it seems like the only issue is that inquisition can't properly download the information it needs for the custom world state. If it helps at all, I'm on PC, and I downloaded the dragon age games through steam. I put a picture of the screen in inquisition after I attempt to use a custom world state121Views0likes1Comment[PC] Dragon Age Origins uses wrong sound device
I have my TV attached to my PC to play but when starting DA:O the game uses my PC speakers instead of those from the TV while everything else works perfectly fine over the TV speakers. It doesn't always do that but it happens a lot more often lately and I can't figure the problem. I checked that the TV speakers are selected as standard device and that the sound plays over them but as soon as I start the game it switches to the PC speakers. Was chat told me they deleted my email address and now I have no access to the game I just bought. I spent so much time speaking with customer service only for to belittle me during our conversation saying things like “are you listening?” Because they don’t understand that when you delete a mf account you lose all access! They then proceeded to disable my access to their chat. The very last person I spoke with literally asked me that the issue was and I told them exactly this “I was told my email address was deleted” they replied “ok give me a moment” then ended the chat and deleted my access to chat with customer service. it’s fraud! If you so slightly mess up your email address they will delete your mf account and say oh well!! I’ve seen so many people with this issue! EA must be stopped or bought to justice!82Views0likes1Comment
