Dear EA, fix your game.
Dragon Age Inquisition. This is a game that many people know and liked quite a lot. Even favor it over Veilguard which (in my opinion) is a flop compared to it. Despite that this game has been down for over 4 - 5 years. People have asked over and over, sought help, been respectful all of the sort. All we've gotten back is "Oh wait till Veilguard comes out", "Have you tried this?", "This game will not get updates for the foreseeable future." Out of all game studios this is not uncharacteristic of you guys. You have something that we like and there tends to be an incentive over profit than enjoyment and we all know how that gets down in the public eye. But 4 - 5 years without a fix? I've been around the Microsoft store for a while and I've seen the game on the marketplace with all its editions, ON SALE and OFFSALE at full price in this broken state. That right there is quite literally THEFT. You sell a product to a consumer advertising that the product is a feature length game, no matter the price. But you REFUSE to fix the game over the heinous accrued amount of time and then you have it open to buy where it won't function? Giving people who have bought your game the same set of "troubleshooting" tips won't work and has stopped working a long time ago. You need to fix your game.DA2 dlcs problems on Steam
I have recently bought DA origins and DA 2 from Steam. With Origins, I had no problem with the DLCs, however with DA 2 I just reached Act 2 and noticed that the DLC statues did not appear in my estate. I then went and checked and saw that my dlcs are unauthorized, Also, the game is not letting me log in with my EA account. Is there a solution for this, or do I just have to accept that you can't play DA2 dlcs from Steam?
[Xbox] Dragon Age Inquisition crashing On Launch
I just had this issue happen to me today, im a decent bit into my playthrough and its really frustrating... I tried this fix and it got me past the start up to the main menu, but when i press start to actually get to the game it just crashes again anyway. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, hard reset my console and nothing seems to let me get into the game. I hope somehow this issue gets fixed I really want to finish inquisistion before veilguard.Dragon Age Keep - Error
I've been trying to get into the Keep to edit a new world state, however I can only log in and always get an error message when trying to get to the tapestry or any other part of the site. I've tried clearing the cache, updating the password, using mobile device to log in, creating a new account, different browsers, all to no avail. The error message is the "Oops, an error occurred. Please refresh and try again". When I tried to create a new account I got the 500 error message. I'd like to avoid using a save editor to update, but I've not been able to solve this issue. I seem to be having trouble with getting the Flames of the Inquisition DLC to show up on my PS5. I’ve tried to go to the Dragon Age Keep to unlock it, but I keep getting an error message saying to refresh and try again. If ANYONE knows how to fix this issue, PLEASE let me know. It would be GREATLY appreciated.
trying to download dragon age Origins pc ea app
it is in my list of owned games in the app, I've owned it for about 10 years, but when i try to download it, it starts then after a few mins i get an error saying i don't own it....I've tried to contact ea, i click on chat but no one ever enters chat...I've wait sometimes about an hour....anyone have any idea what to do? so anyone who tells me to go use ea chat is wasting their time...there must be something else to do...
Dragon age inquisition bugs
I know that part of the unique bosses and sub bosses changes qith dificulty qnd trials but some like the flame sorcerer in the witch hunt can be unbeatable, also in inquisition i found a bug that i do not know what caused it, it seems the game uses a 3d persona of the characters before the cinematics begin, the party was frozen in place dead and i entered the last solas cinematic then it glitched, making no progress until i atacked solas triggering the inquisitor to cry “dolas need help; it started at the begining by the unusual blue light and in minute 5:24 it happened, i lost the save file by mistake but the video remained. Forced to play in languages I don't use.
Hi, i have DaI on EA and after the change of origins to EA my games only allows me to play in polish or russian, no english at all in choices during download window. And Im almost 100% sure i used to play it fully english when app was still ORIGIN, just like DaO which i can pick from whole list of languages to this day. When I do download it, the game launches with both english and polish mixed - one for voice and one for text. Like why?? I want my game to be fully english and it now when searching it is said ithat game is region locked to polish options even tho i don't even live in poland so its frustrating that suddenly I cannot play the game because of that. Why region lock something so crucial as language of a game? I wanted to make my bf play the game that i love and now we can't because suddenly me owning a game still doesn't give me right to pick a language freely. The only options i possibly see is refunding/deleting a game that i had since 2014 and buy a new one just to have another region unlocked? And the fact I live in Finland will possibly force finnish/swedish only anyway... Is there a easy fix to force english on the game? And yes, I have my OS in english, my EA app is in english and region is Finland.Origin is no loonger running. [Bug]
So, I recently got back into Dragon Age and decided to play Inquisition, first time playing in a while and I launch the game, however every time I try to do so it shows me the attached ss. I deleted the EA launcher cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, even rebought it on steam to see if that fixes it. I've done everything less than uninstalling and reinstalling the EA App (since I would have to use CCleaner bc the uninstaller won't work). Is there anything I can do to avoid this error?
DAO and DAO Toolset Windows 11 Compatibility Update
I know people seem to think this is not possible and dead on arrival request. But if EA did it for Sims 1 and 2 last year, I think there is—though be it—a slim chance. I do not want a remaster, I just want to play and mod for this game on windows 11 without issues. And I do not want to lose my existing mods (made by me and made by other players) As a player even with the 4GB LAA patch, runs so much worse on windows 11 vs. 10. As a modder, when Builder to Builder Loading after a crash any existing file (I previously updated before windows 11), not only gives an error, but breaks the toolset preventing creation of new files. Though many fans/community are up for the challenge of fixing themselves, I think it is worth having an official update eventually. I recently bought a copy of dao ultimate edition for the ps3. I know the servers have been down for a while, but I saw that the dlc was supposed to be on the disc, so I figured I would be ok. I’m told the dlc is supposed to pop up in an “additional content” section next to dragon age on the xmb, but nothing is appearing. Is my copy corrupted, and my only option to buy it from the psn store now?Don't want Dragon age Origins Remake .
I personally don't think we need the 2009 hit dragon age origins remake I think this game will always be a classic electronics EA Game . A legacy. The game graphics are top notch the gameplay is great and the Management for gear, weapons, and menus are easy to have and manage.DAO: Toolset Update
I am a DAO modder or I was. After my PC died, and I was forced to update to Windows 11, I lost my module source files (but managed to have backups for almost everything else). I'd like to mod again, but my big wish is that Awakening and other DLCs would be updated with the Toolset, and the Toolset to be updated better with Windows 11 (I managed to do it, but it was a huge roundabout way, and I hope I don't have to do that again). If possible a NCS -> NSS script decompiler/converter (just upset about my lost source file module scripts). I think it would be really great as a free update for nostalgia and appreciation (like anniversary/milestone thing) to the longstanding DAO fans to get a fully loaded with all Expansions/DLC updates on the Toolset as well as a Toolset update to be compatible with Windows 11. Scripts, dialogues, etc. At this late stage most people already have the DAO: Ultimate Edition anyways, and a lot of us still play. Anyways, I think most of this should be readily available in the archives on the EA end for updating toolset expansion/dlc files—just an update to Windows 11 might be some work, but for EA devs I don't think it be too difficult. I also noticed that the toolset doesn't fully work since having to be on windows 11 (connecting to server/database issues). I bought Dragon Age Inquisition yesterday, put the disc in my PS4 and looked forward to playing my new game, but no - we need verification, OK did this - we need to link to your PS account, OK did this - we need the unlock code for your phone ?!!, OK did this, after many codes being sent and entered the game eventually started playing fine. I put the disc back in today and it is asking all the same questions again before I can play. What more do you want ? - I have given you verification, I have linked my PS account - short of serving you the head of my first born on a silver platter, what do I have to do ?
[PC] DA2 launching in background, black screen bug
Title explains it all. DA2 is unusable and keeps launching in the background. Occasionally it launches successfully but everything but the UI is completely black. That seems to indicate a driver problem, but dxdiag shows no issues as far as I can see. I have no idea if these errors are related or two separate issues, but the black screen bug started after I signed into my Bioware account from another one since I believed the launch issue might have sprung from a discrepancy between the email associated with the EA app account and the Bioware account used in game. The launching started working perfectly but it was obviously unplayable due to the black screen bug. I used local saves so I don't think it's a data loss issue, but starting a new game still gives a black screen even on the class select screen. I haven't changed any settings since that error, but now it's back to only launching in background. I've done full reinstalls, restarts, cleared cache, and ran as admin, but nothing changes and there's no way to consistently get the same error. I'm completely at a loss as to what's wrong with my game.DAO launch pad gives a dll error.
I got a new laptop and moved the game over. It will not start. It displays a login error telling me the NxCharahter.dll is missing. I repair the game. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I drill down to the bin the file is supposed to in and I found it. It's right where it is supposed to be. I am at a loss. Has anyone heard od this error before?
Dragon Age Inquisition on Steam and EA App
I have DAI on steam. Every time the EA App updates, I usually have to uninstall and reinstall the app and relink it to my steam account for the game to boot. I have tried this after the recent update that had a new user agreement, but the game won’t boot at all. When I click ‘play’ it launches the EA app to try and boot it but then just crashes - the game doesn’t even show up on my taskbar. I am assuming this is because the update messed with the “handshake” between the EA app and Steam. I cannot play my game at all.
