DA:O and DAII wont launch and nothing fixes it
So I can't run Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition or Dragon Age II anymore, at first it was just that all of my DLC was no longer showing up, and now it won't launch at all. I've looked to see if there was any way to fix it, but none of the suggestions help. This is just beyond frustrating. Like, I know that EA hates Bioware but I gave them money, I should be able to play my games.
Dragon Age Keep 500 error
So I have been wanting to use the keep to make sure i had the right file synched to my account when i got this error on my phone. I then went to my computer to try to see if it was the fault of my phone but nope there too. If anyone knows how to fix this or who to call to get it fix please let me know.DAI on steam deck not launching
Ive been re playing all dragon age games on my steam deck but as ive gotten to dai it simply wont launch. Ive tried all the protons, deleting and reinstalling and nothing works! Im just a girl who want to replay dragon age :( can someone please help! P.S i only have my steam deck so I can’t play it on another console. Id like to use the ea app to play for the achievements if possible.
unable to play DA:2 and DA:I
i bought dragon age 2 and dragon age inquisition secondhand from a bookstore. i tried to play dragon age 2, and i was stopped by the securom setup thing. i tried to install dragon age inquisition and it wanted me to install origin, but origin was discontinued. i entered my product code for dragon age inquisition on the ea app and it told me it was already in use. i tried to get a ticket or something from the ea help thing but that didn't work and i'm not sure anymore if i can get an actual human person to help me with this issue. maybe i can keep hacking away at the account support until i get somewhere it shouldn't be this hard to install and play a decade old game.
Leliana's Song Bugs and CC
I have DAO Ultimate edition and want to play Leliana's song. When I didn't put in all my previously acquired mods, it had loaded fine, but now that I have all my mods back Leliana is not even there in the first cutscene, and when the cutscene and dialogue finishes her face is replaced with a bald preset. I'm pretty sure it's my mods that are causing this, but I have no idea what mods affect the dlc so I can delete them. I've tried deleting the Leliana morph I had downloaded for the main game, but it doesn't make a difference and the bug still persists. What files should I look for in my override folder that could possibly affect the dlc? I have my mods pretty organized, but if a file has been misplaced somewhere, I wouldn't know what to look for unless I know the name of the file. Can anybody help?
Dragon Age 2 DLCs show as “Unauthorized” - How can I activate them?
Hi everyone, I’m running into an issue with Dragon Age 2 DLCs and I’m not sure how to fix it now that the servers are offline. All my DLCs are installed correctly and show up in the “Downloadable Content” menu, but they are marked as “Unauthorized”. The problem is that the in-game login to EA servers no longer works (servers were shut down last year) So I have no way to authenticate or activate the DLCs through the official method Any help would be really appreciated! Thesis II — Radical Conservatism is Tyranny Those who preserve the Veil claim responsibility for safety. Yet history shows the Fade and reality coexisted. Coexistence is possible. Radical idealists who seek reintegration (like Solas once sought) are vilified, while conservatism, grounded in fear, reigns unchallenged. Ask yourselves: how can we demand liberty for ourselves while denying it to those deemed ‘other’? Is safety the excuse for oppression, or simply the justification of our own cowardice? Thesis III — Coexistence, Compromise, and Moral Duty The world does not demand a binary: Veil preserved or reality destroyed. A world of compromise is possible — less chaotic than the raw Fade, richer and more dynamic than static reality. The moral imperative is to seek integration, dialogue, and mutual recognition, not dominance and suppression. We cannot claim progress in matters of identity, love, or freedom while upholding systems that erase or subjugate other sentient beings. Call to Conscience We declare: All beings, regardless of plane or nature, deserve recognition of their agency. Fear is not law; familiarity is not justice. To deny others their freedom while claiming it for ourselves is hypocrisy, not morality. We demand: a society where identity, choice, and moral recognition are universal, not selective; where the moral weight of fear does not outweigh the moral rights of sentience; where coexistence is not a dream, but a duty. Conclusion — The Manifesto of Equal Agency We call upon all citizens of Fade and reality, mortals and spirits alike: “Raise your voices! Defend not just your own rights, but the rights of all! Issue redeeming PS3 DLC code
In May 2022 I bought the Dragon Age: Origins Collectors Edition second hand but still factory sealed. I'm trying to access the DLC that came with it. I've tried periodically since purchase to redeem the collector's edition content DLC code listed on a card contained inside by contacting EA support as well ea.com/redeem it's 16 alphanumeric characters not the modern 20. I confirmed through a support agent a year or two ago the code is valid and unused. I find it odd that support can check whether a code has been redeemed but they can't add the content to the code owner's account. That's all I want, the DLC redeemed to my account. It is an EA format code not PlayStation. It cannot be redeemed via PSN, I've tried. In recent chat sessions with support they claim they have no record of the code. I just want my DLC!!! I paid $100 to get a sealed copy!! I'm going to contact playstation support once they're available but, they can probably help even less than EA support.
Activation UI Problems (DA: I)
I'm trying to launch Dragon Age: Inquisition for the first time, but the furthest I get is that the Activation UI opens, I get a login pop-up that says the following: "Activate Your Game Sign in with your Origin Account to activate Dragon Age Inquisition - Game of the Year Edition on this computer" I enter my credentials and the pop-up disappears, then reopens. I've tried pretty much everything: changing my password, opening the EA app and the game as admin, opening it through Steam instead of the EA app, repairing the app and game, clearing cache, etc. I've followed instructions multiple boards and nothing has helped. I'm on Windows 11 and using the EA app (even though the Activation UI says Origin). I've also tried opening the game in offline mode, but I get an EC: 204 instead. I've included a screenshot of the pop-up.
[DAI] camera flipping glitch when moving with mouse
while controlling the camera angle with a mouse, the camera will sometimes flip 180°. i’ve tried everything mentioned in some relevant EA forum threads, as well as whatever else i could think of: disable overlay (steam, discord, and nvidia for me) delete the “ProfileOptions_profile” file clean reinstall of the graphic and mouse drivers reduce camera movement speed/mouse sensitivity in game turn off “enhanced pointer precision” change graphic settings (texture quality and vsync etc) repair game via steam none fixes the problem. my pc isn’t connected to any controller at the moment. it has made exploration extremely tedious. to add more context, it didn’t happen in first playthrough, it only started halfway through my second playthrough. this issue persisted ever since across different saves. any suggestion on how to fix this problem will be appreciated:)[Xbox] Dragon Age Inquisition crashing On Launch
I just had this issue happen to me today, im a decent bit into my playthrough and its really frustrating... I tried this fix and it got me past the start up to the main menu, but when i press start to actually get to the game it just crashes again anyway. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, hard reset my console and nothing seems to let me get into the game. I hope somehow this issue gets fixed I really want to finish inquisistion before veilguard.DAI FMM Object reference not set to an instance of an object error 2026
I've posted this error on several forums and have not received a viable solution as of yet. I have DAI through Steam, but I think the problem mostly lies within the EA App. Upon trying to launch the Frosty Mod Manager application and selecting the game, this error will pop up and then subsequently crash the application. I use the latest version of Frosty designed for DAI and have used this for a long time without having issues. However, recently with the EA app updated, I can now no longer even open the app. I have tried many ways to resolve the issue, but none of the solutions given have worked. I was told the issues are most likely due to the EA app no longer reading certain files due to permissions and such. I am not certain what that means and don't know how to fix it. The game will launch through Steam in vanilla mode, but the game is practically unplayable that way in my opinion. If anyone knows how to fix this, please advise. I am at my wits end with this. Having issues with Dragon Age Keep. My games have not been importing previous world state. When I go to Dragon Age Keep I have my Xbox Series X linked to to it, but there's also a PC account linked to it (not sure if I linked it or not). Just wondering if this would be causing the issues with importing the previous world state & is there a way to delete the PC linked to Dragon Age Keep? I've had a lot of problems with Dragon Age Inquisition, specifically the multiplayer, but this might be just the most bizarre one yet. I'm getting help with Graphics card issues, but this is a new one. I came back from a hotel yesterday. I was there for a week. I used their wifi. For some reason, I was unable to interact with items with my mouse. I can't open doors or loot anything. I have to use the interact key, F. How do I fix this? Even going back gome didn't help.
