DA Inquisition - License key is already in use.

Hi EA,

I regret to inform you that I have an issue. It looks like you have enough of them already so I apologize for adding to your stack. I've been where you are and I feel for you.

I played DA Inquisition quite some time ago. For at least 2 months I have not played the game. Today I thought - What the heck maybe I'll start up and play. The game did not allow me to login so I changed the password. That solved that issue.

However, all was not to be so easy....after successfully changing the PW I was asked to enter a user name which I did.

Now I have access to my account but there are no games associated to my account. When I attempt to activate the game code on my installation sheet supplied in the CD Case, I am told that it is already in use. Duh! Yes ... by me. 🙂   Now how do we get your systems to grant me permissions to play my game?

Thanks for your assistance.

Richard

I tried the friendly approach to resolution now I'm going to bring out the big guns....

If DA can't respond to this issue in a fairly respectable timeframe I have no recourse but to contact the District Attorney of the US and talk to them about a class action law suit. This comes down to ownership of the game. If I have paid you money for a product but you won't allow me to play along with thousands of other players then you are revoking ownership privaledges without permission. The cost to users is in the millions in time and energy wasted to try and resolve an issue that should not prevent players from using their product.

Are you going to respond to me and resolve my request or do I contact the US and begin a lawsuit that will cost your organizations millions in legal fees?

    Don't be a boor.

You are on the wrong website. The player community at Answer HQ has exactly the same access to make contact with EA as you have. This site is for peer to peer self-help, it is not a conjoined twin to the EA Help Center at all. Contact site: https://help.ea.com/

People like this make me laugh.  The only "remedy" any court would award, (IF there were any merit to the claim, which there isn't and a court would just throw the case out on its  ass  face) would be the purchase price.  Which any competent lawyer would tell RumpledLuck, after charging a US$150 "Initial Consultation Fee" of course.  😕mileywink:
