Dragon age 2 not working on origins

Hi Wondering if you can help my dragon age 2 isn't working on my origins on my pc but worked when I played it on my laptop via origins. Can you tell me what I have to do to get it working again. ...

@XxCarysLouXx Hi, how does it fail? Do you get any error messages or particular behaviour before it fails?

What I get after I have launched my game is windows has stopped working each time I try to play the game.

@XxCarysLouXx Is Windows itself fully crashing? Are you getting a bluescreen issue? Do you see an error message on the reliability monitor?

  It says windows has stopped working and then I get check to find the solution and close windows nothing else.

    Unfortunately that's not a lot to work with. If you can post your dxdiag and any error reports that may help in narrowing down on what's going on here.
    
    Also be sure that your Windows is fully up to date.
