Dragon Age II wont connect to Xbox live

Everytime I load up DA2, it gives me a message that I'm not connected to xbox live. If I try to sign into DA servers it instantly pops up an error message that I need to be connected to xbox live to ...

Gotcha. Okay, can you log into the keep, and on the first screen make sure everything is there for accounts?

Then on the left go to the replay start-up and click "review your records" I'm testing mine on two accounts to make sure the keep isn't having issues.

Let me know how many points you get in each one, and in the bottom right it may show an achievement icon.

This could be a 100% syncing issue with the keep.

@Greykyne There are a few messages like this. Can you attach a screenshot of the error you are getting?

Which Xbox are you playing on?

These are the ones that pop up. Again I know I am connected to the internet and have used the internet in the background while playing.

@Greykyne Ahh okay, so those errors are a disconnect between the EA account and whatever console you are on. In this case Xbox. It has nothing to do with the game or your internet.

Reset the password to Xbox

Reset the password to the EA account

Once reset, load back into any EA game and see if you get the same error.

  I tried resetting both my ea and microsoft account passwords, restarted my Xbox one X, and got the same error. I also tried fully turning off and disconnecting the power cable to no avail. Of note: DA Inquisition has no problem connecting to DA servers on the same xbox at almost the same time. DA II will not connect.

    @Greykyne Gotcha. Does this happen the moment you launch it? Are you able to get into the option settings within the game?
    
    I am downloading it now but I am on Series X. If it is a server issue, I will get the same error.
