I am getting the same problem.
AMD 8350 (8 cores) Water Cooled
Usage ranges between 75-100% on all cores while DA:I is running.
Average play time is 30 min before my rig shuts down due to overheating.
On reboot I get an error from the BIOs "North Bridge over temprature"
This is really pissing me off!
I play alot of games and NONE have ever gotten close to overheating my rig. Not even Skyrim with 100 mods on Ultra.
We need answers and solutions, or at least respond.
Thanks

I'm usually first in line to bash EA, but in this case your temperature is your own problem. If you haven't run into this issue on any other game, it's because your games aren't using your CPU as well as your graphics card at the same time. You probably don't have adequate cooling, be that your CPU cooler isn't running like it should, your case temperature is elevated by the GPU heat+CPU heat and your airflow is suboptimal, or you have a motherboard issue.
There is absolutely nothing EA/BW can do to help you except reducing CPU load, which is a big fat load of (BLEEP!). I have an ultra high end CPU and I don't want to be brought down to the same level as an 8350 cpu, that's like changing the passing grade to 50% so all the morons in class can get by.

I'd recommend running two benchmarks in tandem, specifically prime95 and Luxmark.
This will press your CPU to max load and also fully load the GPU simultaneously. This will induce a "worst case scenario" as far as your system temps go. If you can run both of those for 2 hours, no game will overheat your system.

yep same thing for me aswell

Not the game, even my air cooled old 8GB, Nividia 9600 computer never overheated with DAI. My liquid cooled i&, 32 GB tops out at 70 with the game.
What I do may be the difference.
I open the case and dust inside my computers once a month.
Shut down and clean vents and fans with SD alcohol once every 4 months.
Inspect the thermal past twice a year, and replace it if needed.
Might be a bit of overkill but, a clean rig is a cool rig, and a cool rig is a happy rig.
I'd give dusting and cleaning a try, and check the thermal paste. Might be that's all it is.

@DarkAmaranth1966 How do you inspect the thermal gel? I would assume by removing the heatsink, but doesn't that mean you'd have to apply new thermal gel regardless?
