Try setting Post-Process Quality: Low seems to stop the crashes, at least for me using GTX 780

Has anyone found a concrete fix to this yet? I just picked up the game today and I'm getting the same message. I'm running a GTX1070 GPU and even when I turn the graphics down to medium I get crash after crash. This is driving me crazy!
